Pretty much the same here My kids see the respect I give their Mother and all I do for them, then I get bad mouthed by Her and Her family.Sadly My kids have to hear what they say,,it's messed up that adults do this in front of children. so I just let them say what they wish and ignore it and don't stoop to that level...I do everything for My children and they know it, they're My best buds, so let them keep talking...My daughter is already hip to the whole thing,They would tell Me what their Mother would say about Me, that put Me over the edge,that They have to hear this, but the relationship I have with My kids can't be touched....A couple of weeks ago My 7 year old daughter said to Me "Dad You know how Mom is" lol,that made Me laugh and realize that She can say what She wants and take all the credit, but the kids see and realize whats going on,They will give the credit where it is do and they're love is all the credit I need!

If you really think about it, if both parents are involved in the childs life...then people know where the credit deserves to go!! I give my ex credit when the credit deserves to go to him. I don't sweat the small stuff like this anymore. Life is way to short to worry about this kind of stuff. My boys have 2 parents and they have both of us giving them advice..so I am sure we both deserve the credit for them being great kids

My ex is non existent in my daughter's life and has been since she was born. So I get all the credit no matter what.

Rough Crowd! Funny.y ex wanted to teach our son to pee, and didn't want anyone else to teach him. Its hard to do that when you never visit your child! LOL so needless to say, I taught my boys how to pee standing up like any good woman would! :OP
