so, I've seen bits and pieces of Dr.Who on BBC but i've never watched all the episodes until my friend insisted upon it. Now that i've watched it from the beginning i must say its really brilliant show. however if you've been doing an all day whoathon like i have be prepared to think with an english accent.I HIGHLY recommend it. any other fans out there?

Eccleston was fantastic; I wasn't sure I would believe him as the Doctor but he turned out to be one of the best ever. Right now, the local PBS is showing the first Tennant season, so Rose is (thankfully) still around, although I have read about her subsequent departure from the show. But I just read that she shows up again at the end of Tennant's 3rd season....! Which I will probably get to see sometime around 2027, at this rate....

I DVR every episode of Dr Who. I haven't watched them in order, but I know a bit about Face of Boe. The reveal of his background will go down as a great moment in TV history.

One of my favorite episodes was the Family of Blood. The ending was really cool.

I grew up on Tom Baker and I have always been a fan of Dr Who. The new series is wonderful and I think that the way they started it out made it perfect for new fans.

you know, i didn't actually know about the Dr. Who from the 70's and 80's until my science professor came up and started asking me about the new series. she has heard me talking about it with some friends. Im trying to find the old episodes online. no luck thus far.

as am I. I'm about to go watch some more right now ^_^ I'm glad to see what im not the only one. And i still am not sold completely on David Tennant as the Dr. he's good and he's cute. but Christopher Eccleston has this edge to him, he seemed dangerous and his witty was a bit sharper. Plus sometimes Tennant licks his lips like he did as bartty Crouch in Harry Potter and i can help but get annoyed.

I would take him...Oh boy would I ever. Absolutely love him!

i like him angry too.. i love when he really gets into it.. like when Casandra took over his body! how quickly his body language changed. it was dead on.. i do have to give it to him for being a great method actor.

He's an AMAZING actor. He's got that crazy ability to shift personalities and I love watching him. Check out on youtube Friday Night Project with him. HILARIOUS
