Now that all four of our cats are indoor/outdoor cats, I have new insight into the meaning of the term "cat fight" and it's application to women's (or more aptly, teenage girls) fights.

There is a neighborhood stray that made friends with the two of our cats that had been going outside. He, however, does NOT get along with our other two cats. The little one is constantly running up trees to escape from him and the stupid little runt is too dumb to get herself down. Let me just say that a garden hose works far better than a ladder.

We have now been in our house for 13 months and literally just this week the fourth feline member of the household emerged from the basement. I don't think she liked moving and having extra cats thrown in with her.

My dad's next door neighbor keep making a REALLY bad habit of taking in these cats from various sources (pet rescue places, etc.). Not ONLY do they not feed their cats, but it never occurred to them that they need to have them FIXED, either.

So NOT ONLY have we had instances where their PREGNANT cat would sneak in and start poppin' out litters of kittens in my dad's garage, but there'd also be instances where other neighbor's cats would start fighting with my dad's cats.

And- when confronted with what they've done- they play stupid and come up with all sorts of idiotic excuses to TRY to deflect blame off of themselves. Idiots. Every one of them.

Luckily all four of ours (3 girsl, 1 boy) are fixed because this absolutely ADORABLE stray is not.

if you can afford to, trap it and get it spayed/nuetered. some vets will do a stray for very little money
