found out today from my "soon" to be ex's new gf that he abused her too and is in jail. She regrets putting him there because he "needs" her. I finally just emailed her the truth whether she wanted to hear it or not. Did I do the wrong thing?

I am like that. I have told her the truth all along and have the paperwork to back it up. I told her she has children the choice is hers. Well he threatened her life and her sons. I dont hold anything against her, she seems nice and has never given me a hard time. I just want her and the kids to be safe. |

Yes. It is always the right thing to warn someone of an abuser. "Needing" someone is a way an abuse uses to get in with someone.

I just reread her email again. He did this to her on her birthday and their 2 month anniversary. I know 2 months isnt a long time, but for a single disabled mother who technically has no life its a lifetime to her. Sad part is, I saw her pics and she is a beautiful woman. Way to pretty to have to deal with a loser like him.

She will not listen til she is ready
I spoke to my ex's girlfriend before they got married - warned her about EVERYTHING. She did not believe me. Married him. Had a kid. divorced him within 2 years. Guess she should have listened

That way you get less trouble and less headaches . I can be wrong . This is me ....!. |
