In all honesty, it's a job of a gentleman to do small things, like putting the seat down. Something that most women DO notice and DO take in consideration.

I expect a woman to do the small things also...Its very nice to have them do it as well...Its a partnership drinker

I was raised in a house with 3 brothers, a father and my mom... The seat was almost ALWAYS down. It looks horrible if it's up to begin with...do you leave your dresser drawers open? Do you leave the fridge open? Do you leave the microwave open? Do you leave the stove open? NO... shut it, you weren't born in a barn were ya?

The one who put it up. You see...a toilet seat's natural resting state is in the down position. If you do not return the seat to it's natural resting position, the kinetic energy stored therein could possibly cause collateral damage upon an uncontrolled release of said energy. This could in turn cause a chain reaction, with the end result being pain and suffering to the person who left the seat up.

HUH? Wha? There's no kinetic energy stored in an object when it is at rest. The energy stored, and the pain and suffering inflicted would be a result of a woman slugging a guy after falling into the bowl.

Hello! A toilet seat left in the upright position is NOT at rest and therefore contains stored kinetic energy. You are, however, correct about the pain and suffering being the result of a woman slugging a guy after falling into the bowl....taking into consider the many permutations of said pain and suffering, i.e. cracking the guys skull open with said toilet seat....or covering said toilet seat with epoxy just prior to said guy's scheduled toilet rendezvous......

neither, i am developing a robotic toilet seat which
senses your sex via pheromones and/or breathalyzer and
automatically flips the seat up or down.

Actually, I've never had an issue with this. Most men I know put the seat down.

everyone. whoever wants it up can put it up, then put it back down. I mean the lid and the seat.
