Topic: How organized are you? | |

I am so unorganized I can barely find air to breathe (Dont confuse this with dirty-my house is cleaned regularly-but, I pick up clutter to clean and put it back ). How organized are you? Can anyone get organized or do you just have to be born that way? Part of my problem is I run a business from my home. Or should I say several businesss

A former boss was a recovering OCDer. His office was very organized. So every time we went in there we moved something. Or would walk by a throw a piece of paper on his floor.

I am so organized I scare people
everything is in alphabetical order, towels all folded and going the same way, colors hanging in closet |

Every time I try and organize things, I can't find them later. So I gave up on it.

But I WANT TO BE organized! I NEED to be for my work is at home! One thing that has helped a little in the past is flylady.net...but, is easy to get back off the routine...especially if I spend hours on here running my mouth and then hours talking to Peccy at night

organization is for those with no sense of adventure I would completely disagree with this statement. I'm very organized in my personal and professional life and even teach a "Prioritize, Organize and Perform" class; but I see that as a survival skill! Having grown up in a cluttered and chaotic home, I learned early on that if I wanted to go have fun I needed to 1.) be able to find the door, 2.) collect my allowance for doing my chores, and 3.) help my little sister find her shoes so Mom could drive me to my friends house! So applying that experience to my life as an adult, being organized allows me to dedicate the time, energy and resources I might spend trying to managed a messy life toward pursuing great adventures I might miss otherwise. For me, it works! (Less stress and second guessing myself too!) |
