a friend of mine the other day mentioned that her and her husband had not had a "good fight" in a long time, so it's due. She says she thinks fights are healthy for a marriage. Do you agree? I don't know about that .. but I gotta say make up sex is to die for .....

It isn't necessary to fight to simply clear the air. To clear the air, a couple needs to learn to communicate with one another before it leads to a big blow out.
In addition, just because there is a big fight & great make-up sex afterwards, doesn't always = the air has been cleared between them. Usually what happens, things have been temporary nullified. In most cases, the root cause is still there under the surface because nothing was truly solved. Good communication is the key! |

If I am mad/pi$$ed at anyone, I dont want to speak, see or touch them, much less have sex with them.. So I guess make up sex for me was never good

I don't care for arguing at all. It will happen though, no doubt...but during those discussions I like to remember that I am not with him because he hangs the toilet paper the same way I do. So if he fails to do so, it's not the end of the world.
For bigger issues than fallen souffles and garage doors left open all night, I prefer cooling down and returning to it once the passions are settled down. If a little hot sex helps to settle them down, then so be it!
