I couldn't put a specific time on that. I'd at least have to be 100 percent sure about the way I felt. No Doubts whatsoever.

I suppose it would depend on the person, and if you had been friends before you started dating or not...dunno. I know my brother got married after 3 months of dating....my parents got married after their 2nd date...have known a few other relationships that became marriage after just a couple months. So far...all of those are still good, solid marriages, but I don't think I'd recommend the speedy road to marriage to just anyone. lmao

My parents dated for 4 years before they got married and are divorced. I have recently been told a story about a couple who got married after 6 weeks and they have been married for 51 years. Who knows...if it's right it really doesn't matter it seems.

woooooow...
from minutes to 5 years.... thats a huge differance.. im leaning towards maybe 1-6 mths that would be enough time to know it would work and you would be happy. |

Is the measurement of time is really a variable? If so, how long does it take you to fall in love? Then you would have to be in love fo X amount of time before you will get married?
I have never been married but I assume that my partner and I would know when it was right. Wether it was 1 or 10 years...IMHO |

how long would u want to know somebody BEFORE you got married??? At least 4 seasons. After that, I'd more than likely know their winter of discontent, the joy of spring, the thunderstorms of summer, and the wild colors of autumn. I don't plan on marrying again unless we're together for at least that long, but you never know, I could have another relapse and fall in that familiar mentally ill condition known by many who claim to be sane, as falling in love, at which point, all rhyme and reason vanishes. |

I learned something new to check for in the process, and most of the marriage was good, but not enough for an 'until one of us dies' marriage. |
