me too. i had one, and i have kept myself awake.
i don't have time to be dreaming and waking up over and over again.

I've had a few.

Some more intense than others.

All of them life changing.

Very hard to explain the feeling...exhilirating, awestruck, inspirational, uplifting.

Always knowing exactly what path I'm supposed to be on.

And always relieves physical, mental, and emotional pain.

Oh..ok..I understand what you're asking now..I think it's different for everyone actually..for me..it started when I was 6yrs old and my parents had just split up and my mom,my brother and I had just moved to a new home..all that plus being sick..I think just opened up all kinds of "doors" for me..cuz it was only 2weeks after the move that I saw my first spirit.

You can only see angels if God sends them to you...there is usually a reason for their appearance.

I've seen angels for years..and have helped other people meet/see theirs as well.

I have many angel guiding me and steering me in the right direction. And I have even been smacked upside the head by the Lord himself when I have tried to do things my way.......Or when I was not doing as I should......The Lord God can be very subtle and in your most quite places or in some cases for me....Can be all up in my face and saying HELLO Debbie.......NO NO NO......where if I am stubborn and I don't listen....He makes sure I hear....and of course my choice to listen or do it my way....
