I'm curious to find out how many have actually had them. I've had a few over the years, but 1 very recently.
I was critically ill for a few days in the hospital, and progressively got a little better each day. I was in there for about 10 days total. Since being home it's been difficult and trying at times, but I get better each day. The first 3 days in the hospital (or about that I'm gathering) seemed touch and go for me. I remember closing my eyes on that first day and everything went black. Maybe it was the pain that I was in that made it happen, maybe not but I just wanted to go. I saw my entire life play out like a movie and I began to let go of it all. I don't know how long it was, nor can I even try to put a time frame on any of it. What I do know is that there was a voice when I decided to let go that told me to hang on, it's not time yet and that I would get through it. I just needed to hang on a little longer and I would be ok. It's changed me in a lot of ways and I can't even begin to put most of it into words. I'm slowly beginning to make changes in my life in order to do the things that I need to do as well as start taking action on the things I need to take action on. It's going to be a process for me and I know it's going to take some time. Anyone else?

I've had a few, but nothing from such a dire circumstance. I hope I don't need to be in such a position in order to have more awakenings or awareness. God bless you!!

I lost my brother in a car accident almost 10 years ago. shortly after he died I put the tattoo he had on his forearm over my heart with his initials in it and a teardrop rolling out of it. a couple months later, with my mom still wanting to give up,I asked my brother to show her a sign that he was ok so she would go on. 2 weeks after that, my mother and I saw his angel. We woke my father up and he saw it also. Since then, my parents have had a "peace" with it and I have random hearts left around my house and any where I am. It's amazing.... One was a hair in my shower shaped like a heart... i think it's in my profile

Maybe all awakenings are 'spiritual' because we are spiritual beings. I woke up one day from a dream and found myself in another dream. Then I woke up from that dream and found myself in still another dream. Then I woke up from that dream and found myself in yet another dream. To make short story shorter, I woke up five times before I found myself in this dream. This dream? (~~Yeh, That's what I thought) Is this yet another dream of longer duration? When will I wake up from this dream? Yes, I think this reality is yet another dream. Jeannie |

I've actually done alot of angel readings/meetings since I realized that I wasn't a nut or that my disability wasn't aiding in making it all up..It's so much fun to do.

Having one is pointless if you don't act on it.
January 1994, I haven't been the same since, although I do have the occasional relapse. The information was always there, I just got a much clearer realization of who I was and of my physical mortality. I have no fear of physical death. |

While working in hospice had a number of patients tell me they weren't afraid of death. But of the process of dying. They provided me with a number of Spiritual Awakenings. |

I would like to ask a serious question. How do you see spirits or angels? How is it possible? The closest thing to the otherside I have seen is little sparkles once in a while. It looks like you stared at a light bulb and then looked away seeing dots of light. But how do you actually penetrate even further to see more? Just curious.

I have had many many experiences....
The Lord has shown me over and over through Him of not only that he is real.... But the path that he has set for me to take.....scary no way..... with all my heart and soul I gladly choose the narrow of the roads and do so with Love, Patience, Kindness, and always a glad heart.

It looks like you stared at a light bulb and then looked away seeing dots of light. But how do you actually penetrate even further to see more? Just curious. It isn't necessarily a matter of seeing them. Rather it is feeling their presence and hearing a "still quiet" voice. God, Your Higher Power, does not work in the ways people expect or often realize. |

Deep breathing exercises maybe. I have a psychic friend who has spirits around her all the time. Occasionally when she is photographed, you can catch them on film. It is some sort of energy. I have a picture of her with a very clear circle of blue light sitting on and just above her forehead. It is a blue circle. In the center of the circle there is a shape with five points that if you drew a line from each point, it would be a five pointed star. She was surprised when I showed her the picture. She had often seen lights around her head in pictures but this one was very clear and circular. When I zoomed in on the circle, I found a smaller circle attached to the larger one, as if there was another spirit energy there. I don't know if this energy is her energy or some higher self energy or some spirit. It is an amazing picture. JB |
