anyone that doesnt take advantage of a situation (which often involve deceitful, dishonest and other unscrupulous acts) will finish last. Not saying you have to become a piece of shlt to finish better in life but it sure does help. then reply!!!  i did and point taken but this just isnt the way most think. It was more poetry than realistic. hence why this guy will always finish last, and not in the way you described Iz....  With all the "nice" guys who complain about being "nice" it is pure irony to me.... They go in the trash dumpster with the jerks, the assholes, the users, the pompus ones, the I'm only in this for me ones.... I'm glad you found a "nice" guy that I can take the quotes off the nice part.... I think I'm on that road myself...time will tell...

Well, I'm a nice guy, but I have that geeky/dorky/goofy/preppy image.
 You wrote something that should make all nice guys feel good about who they are. But, you did miss something. See, nice guys are who they are. Sometimes we may date a girl that would hurt us emotionally, but for the most part, we tend to believe that treating a woman with the respect that they deserve. Funny thing is, when we are right there in front of them, and we show and tell them that we want to be with them and they know how "nice" we are, they go for the bad boy. So, by the time a girl wants one of us, we get tired of looking, and some of us lose hope. I won't lie, it always sucks to hear from a girl you really like how nice you are, but then they choose a guy that will treat them like sh*t. I'm fortunate now because I am with a woman who treats me with respect, and she is so happy that she found me. Like you Izzie, she dated bad boys. They were attracted to her and she felt that she could not find a nice guy to love and appreciate her for who she is. But, she found me...well, we found each other. |

I do find my self questioning peoples motives as I have been hurt so many times before. That's not a good thing as frequently I can be wrong instead of wronged again.
