The on-site IM here has been known to be quite wonky. Your best bet would be to see if the person you're trying to IM has another IM service the both of you can use, like Yahoo! Messenger, MSN, Google Talk, or Skype.

someone sent me an IM last night.. I didn't realize it until I had scrolled back up to the top of the page and saw this blinking box lol (yes, I have some blonde moments, not often, but at times )

Some say the best IM protocol to use is Skype for some reason, but I personally like Google Talk, as you get less spammers and other crap. But yeah- the IM here ain't too good.

i never get im z but then again i have disabled the im feature wonder if that has anything to do with it insert head scratching emoticon here na i still wouldn't get any cause i am to blunt and can debate both sides of an issue

Yeah its been giving me problems to like when someone tries to IM me i click Yes and it does nothing it wont bring up the Im Browser so just stick with sending them mail to start ,just until they get some kinks worked out.
