kissing (light), sporting, and the like is important I think for kids to witness of their parents - just the "clean" stuff though

No PDA for me unless it is positive...My daughter needs good role models for her to understand what a healthy relationship should be.

thats actually a really good rule...hugs and kisses are fine.holding hands,etc.... kids need to see how to behave to......and I dont want mine learnin from TV .

I think some people take their kisses too far and hugging turns to groping...not for the innocent to see in public IMO...but I don't mind breast feeding in public at all...is that strange?

There's what I witnessed while at a big-box electronics store (Fry's Electronics) recently-

I was walking past the magazine aisle (where I was gonna get a beverage to quench my un-quenchable thirst) when I noticed a young-ish Latino couple making out. The fella had his hands INSIDE his girl's jeans, where his hands were firmly gripping her butt cheeks.

They weren't hidden away in some nook or alcove, either. They were right there, out in the open for everyone (including me) to see. And they weren't shy about what they were doing, either.

"Get a room", I thought as I walked past them.

public display of affection. i'm all for it. everybody should do it! affection is great. i've broken in a few shy ex-gfs. now they like it!!



kissing, hugging, non-sexual caresssing. these are the welcome signs of affection. affection is great so why not? it's not dirty.

now as for public displays of lust. that's different. it's not for everybody. and if there are kids around then really you should be ashamed of yourself! get a room geez!! don't ever do THAT

but if there are no kids and just consenting adults well then - they consent!

No Breast feeding is nonsexual and is giving life to an innocent child. I think the media campaignes did alot to help with awareness and exceptance.
But as far as the rest, Ive seen adults and teens doing things they should not.

Totally agree...it shocks me that there are people who feel that a faint glimpse of a breast in the mall while a mother nurtures her child is offensive, while 20 teenagers walk by the same person wearing low cut T-shirts made for toddlers doesn't faze them. We see a lot more boob in todays fashion than most mothers give up feeding.

I think it's the epitome of affection...but if it's a display at all, I suppose it would be categorized as ART in my book.

I am a very very touchy feeling kind of person - was raised that way - never part from a family member or friend without a bear hug, kiss and a heartfelt "I love you".

When in a relationship, touching is very important to me...holding hands, kissing, cuddling, an unexpected hug, there's a time and a place for everything, but nothing wrong with some tasteful (pun intended!) touching in public!
