On little padded feet she creeps
Sneaking up behind me
Pouncing for the attack
Onto my back she jumps
Climbing up to my shoulder
Rubbing against my ear as she softly purrs
I reach up and rub between her ears
Her purring growing louder
And she settles on my shoulder
Curled up in a little ball
Tail hanging down
Her silky black fur warming my skin
Still rubbing her face against my ear
In a flash she jumps down
Scampering around
Into the kitchen she scurries
Crash, crash cans come tumbling down
As she jumps to sit on the shelf
I get up and go pick up the cans
Looking at her
She looks back so innocently
As if she is saying "Who me?"
