As long as I know its the same person I met online why ask for ID.
I won't be meeting anyone in person unless I really like them online. Won't care if they look a little older. |

It's a known fact people (mostly older people) lie on their profiles

It would depend if I thought they were trying to lie or play me. I would listen to my instincts, but if I felt uncomfortable I would be sneaky about it. I might ask them if their drivers license picture looks like a mug shot and show them mine first. If they are hesitant then that would set off a red light in my head...

It's a known fact people (mostly older people) lie on their profiles its not just old people though I don't think that's necessarily true. Why lie when the bottom line is meeting someone face to face and the truth would be right out there?? I wouldn't ask for ID, I would just make that the last date. I once met a guy from here who posted his age as 45, and had pictures posted that looked about right....when we met he wore a velour sweat suit, gold chains and could have been my father....got out of there politely but quickly!!! |
