i have met someone.. and we both still have our profiles up.
many of us have come to think of this as more of a social site than as a dating site.. we both still have friends here.. and both of us still communicate with them on here... also.. i still like to chat in the threads... keeps me entertained.. |

I would disable, it's the rite thing to do, if you don't , there would be trust issues. There wouldnt be trust issues if each significant other had the passwords.. hey, why not?? if you have nothing to hide and they truly ARE JUST FRIENDS..right? |

I would tell them that I found and made ALOT of friends here..and I will keep it to keep in touch with them..thats why they have LOOKING FOR FRIENDSHIP... Ditto that. Nope!I have many dear friends here that I would never break contact with regardless of the site closing(I hope not)or my next relationship.It's a pkg deal or there is no relationship for there is no trust anyhow.My bearific friends are 4 keeps.Woo-Hoo!

i think as long as a person is trust worthy why not be able to stay on the site and if their not than i wouldn't be with them in the first place..of course the allure of the blue box is powerful ....

I would ask if I could stay, and give her full access to my account so she could check up on me whenever she wanted. I wouldn't consider that prying because if I had actually found "The One", then my life would be an open book to her anyway. No secrets, no lying, no sneaking around. I would consider giving her have access to my account as proof of my honesty and love. If she still insisted I deactivate I would be sad, but I know the reason she was asking that of me was probably due to being burned in the past, and that is part of who she is now. If I couldn't accept her for who she is now or in the future then she wasn't the right one for me in the first place.

What it comes down to is that JSH is much more than a dating site. Or perhaps I should say that it is unlike any dating site that I've ever been a part of. I've met some of the most amazing and wonderful people I've ever known through the forums here. JSH is like extended family to me. Do we all get along?
No!!!  But there is something truly unique going on here. Until the day there is no one left to talk to and laugh with I'll be staying around.  Oh, and I have found that someone... And I'm still here....
