It will be more than splitting time, taking on a responsibility, if the child lives with you. If not, then your relationship will have to take first place, if you are serious about the person. Just my thoughts... |

I think thats wierd, becuz now a days everybody has kids. It would be more of a turn off if you had like 20 kids, or 4 different baby mama dramas. But your not like 16 have a 4yr old. Kick'em to the curb! Whats not to luv about kids...

I'm not sure that at almost 40 I would want to take on a 4 year old myself. You can't really get mad at them. Men and woman have the right to choose whether or not they want to be in a relationship with small childre. It really changes how the relationship can go.

people who never have or do not have children have a hard time understanding. if it makes a difference then they are not worth it.

Well my kids are grown 23 & 25 and most my age their kids are grown as well.
But it does happen a lot and do seem to find that more and more men my age do have younger kids. Is it a factor if I date them humm no it would not make any difference. Besides I'm not out to replace anyones mom just be a friend if it is possible with them. For it would be part of the one you date. You either take them as a package or walk away.
