You don't need this kind of roller coaster ride from any woman most especially while you are going through a divorce... I'd say move on and forget about her cause more than likey it would be that way whether you were going through a divorce or not. Sadly some women seem to enjoy doing this to men... good luck

She probably has concerns that she can't address obviously with her hesitiation...but is obviously attracked to you at the same time... You don't have to let her 'set the rules' - decide what you want and go for it.

So, today, after ignoring her for two days (as she requested).. I get an email from her.
Hi Russ: As a friend, you are welcome to, and I hope you do, e-mail me from time to time to let me know how you are doing. Today is a lovely day and I hope you are enjoying it. I don't know what to think. here's what she sent me Tuesday I would like for you to stop e-mailing and texting me. I think you are a really nice guy Russ, but I really don't think you are right for me. I am sorry and I hope this does not hurt your feelings too badly. There a lots of lovely women out there who would love to get serious with you or even just have fun. I just don't know what I am looking for or what I want. I do know I am afraid of commitment and of getting too serious with someone. I admit I haven't been with very many people - but I keep them at arms length so they don't get too close to me. It is a habit I am becoming comfortable with. I hope you can stay friends with me and I wish you all the happiness in the world. |
