I hate padding too. It absorbs water in the pool. You have to squeeze them out whenever you get out of the pool. LOL

I usually take them out, but save them in case they help me fit into a dress that gaps or something.
I avoid the ones that have more than that thin little layer though...the big poofy things that are supposed to push you up in the air? Common...who am I trying to kid anyway?

i like to have them removed, or else u swim and when u dive well the padding always slips and well...so does the top
