My ex husband was involved in an accident that completely changed his personality. He changed from my prince charming to my worst nightmare almost over night.

exactly why i say live together first...then get married (if you're so inclined). you never know someone until you live with them. I had a good friend who lived with his girlfriend for 10 years...they were always so happy (at least from what I could tell) ...then they decided to get married.....they were filing for divorce after one year of marriage....LOL Whats up with that |

Part of the situation is that we tend to see others how we want to see them, not as who they actually are. bingo |

people tend to change over time, as a couple you either grow closer together or further apart..and I do agree that initially we see what we want to see..and show only that which we want others to see...

My ex-wife started out normal but became more and more stiflingly and suffocatingly overpossessive as time went on. She also seemed to lose 20-30 IQ points every month.
As a matter of fact, seems like almost everyone I've ever been involved with has been exactly the same way.... |
