The reason is because you love her so. You may get a little more use to it, but there will be times when something will remind you of her and you'll feel sad. That is a mother's love. The thing you have to keep in mind is this is a short term situation. Make it through the year, and you'll be back together again. I've been there, so I understand how you feel. So if you need to talk - I'll listen.
