to be an on going issue ,its happened to me,usually when you talk to someone on the phone for 2 weeks and so on,why when you meet the person, the chemistry just collapses?

I know with my experiences.. it's usually been the fact they didn't look at all like their pictures.. and we all know, the attraction must be there... come to find out, the picture he had sent was over 10yrs old

expectations too high prior to the meeting, JMO totally agree! you can fall in like/lust with what you perceive the person to be. in person is a totally different experience.

That doesnt mean you are going to hit it off in person. Those words can be a misrepresention of themselves. Then in person the truth shall be on the table so to speak.

I think it's the glory of the fantasy. When You finally do meet... The fantasy quickly gets slammed into reality. Only to be determined by physical presence.
