IT will be a just issue for all the world if all politicians are elected . It is absurd that one family is above all the families of the nation .
When it comes to laws , they get away with many things ....etc . The monarchy is an old institution that shows the face of political , juridical and financial sorts of slavery . It is anti democracy in a sense one family is chosen .
Those who support monarchy are brainwashed and do not take all citizens are equal . In modern age equality is a supreme right and no mess with it under any circumstances . Some kings still have the powers to have people killed , pardoned , tortured ....etc .Monarchy is a farce to say the least .

I can understand very well what you mean by
some monarchies in the world. Having too much
power for any person or group is not a good
thing.

In the UK, the Queen pays taxes, (and so did
Queen Victoria,voluntarily)

No system is perfect. I doubt very much, the
mere fact of being able to elect politicians is
going to solve problems of corruption or abuses.

She and her family are above all other families and this a political and philosophical issue that does not go well with most people who love democracy , equality and officials to be elected .
Add to that the weird reality she is also the queen of Canada , Australia , New Zealand ...etc.
Also she is the head of the common wealth which is an organization of many nations .....!.
