Yes, but not in a romantic relationship - I often will think about my kids at school, or someone else about whom I care deeply, out of the blue, and get kind of a feeling of panic. I usually find out that they were, indeed, in some sort of crisis.

The ones I am close to are able to do this. The ones I keep at arms distance will not have that opportunity.
