Well, they probably at least need to LOOK in the bathroom just in case...
Think of it as taking your car in for service. It's leaking oil from the pan. You say, "Just replace the pan.", but there might be something more to it! And hey, if they rip up your bathroom, well... free bathroom! They pay for it! And if you need a place to go, keep a litter box handy! (= (J/K)

Like I said before, it was leaking into the center of an art gallery showroom that is open on the weekends. I would have thought they would have gotten someone onto it right away rather than wait two days.

Okay, so I went downstairs to peek in the window of the art gallery. You can see where the water hit the leather sofa. But I can't tell if any of that is new or not. But one thing is that all the pipes are exposed in the art gallery. Running right over the sofas in the main gallery.
