My mother used to say that men think money buys you power....women think money buys you security...but if your money only buys you things, you'll end up powerless in an insecure home full of crap.

Money is overrated.

As long as someone is a contributing member of society and financially responsible for themselves to the best of their ability, that's fine by me.

Money does not buy happiness, love, security, peace, wisdom, smiles, warmth, the feeling in your tummy when you look at the special person in your life, friends, health, values, morals, character, sincerity, honesty, respect, faith, hope, confidence, compassion, creativity, romance or anything that truly matters to me.

I would much rather have a stimulating conversation with someone
and make a true human connection than be wined and dined any day of the week.
