Would 'God' share all of the knowledge and/or wisdom that humans pursue, if 'God' could?
The truth is out there. That is a given. Is it meant for us to know exactly what there is? |

I think we were meant to use our brains as well.....and pursue the truth in living life........

Is it meant for us to know exactly what there is?
To ask if it is meant for us to know implies a supreme guardian who has plans for us. That notion in and of itself may or may not be true. To suggest that we might be able to know exactly what there is, implies finiteness. What if knowledge truly is infinite? Then the very idea of knowing exactly what there is may be impossible, even for 'god'. What if the truth is that even 'god' cannot know its own true nature? I think it's certainly beyond human compression to imagine understanding everything, especially if "everything" includes the infinite. The very notion that infinity could actually be known in its entirety flies in the very face that it was ever infinite in the first place. I take Richard Feynman's view on this to heart. "I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it is much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers that might be wrong." - Richard Feynman This doesn't mean that I refuse to ponder. It simply means that I'm not troubled by that which I can not resolve. If there is an all-knowing creator, and it is indeed possible to know everything, then we can rest assured that all will be revealed to us it good time. If there is no all-knowing creator, then the whole point is moot. Chances are real good that we will never know the truth, especially not in our current stage of evolution. We'd be better off to just give up trying and simply enjoy smelling the roses. It would make for a much more pleasant existence. Pondering for fun is just that - fun. But having a desperate need to know the answers can only lead to desperation. |

children never question the sandbox they play in ; they just make do.
My question is, "How in the world did golf ever come to be what it is?" I mean, what stick and what ball and what rabbit hole became the 'make do' for 'nothing better to do'.?????????????????????????????????????? no wut i meen? |

who boiled the first artichoke and why?
was someone trying to tenderize tea leaves for a side dish and discovered that the broth was better? who first scratched marble and then decided to cut it into an image of something in creation? why is wood so much fun to cut and whittle and shape into an edifice? why is gasoline assumed to be so valuable? surely we are here to explore... |

Would 'God' share all of the knowledge and/or wisdom that humans pursue, if 'God' could? The truth is out there. That is a given. Is it meant for us to know exactly what there is? Probably there is a God who created this universe including humans and maybe he did not care less how this universe is going . Also maybe we just keep on guessing until science and logic lead us to some fruitful aspects . Isn't there a huge improvement from stone ages to now ?. If God wanted to share his knowledge with humans then why did it take so long to know how to do basic things such as soothing a headache ......etc ?. I do not expect anyone to know how a supreme creator thinks and how he sees his universe and his humans .Religions are the most ridiculous approaches to all these mysteries . . |

The truth is out there. That is a given. You've been watching too much X-files. The truth is not out there. It's in here. |

Is it meant for us to know exactly what there is? No. That information is CLASSIFIED. It is available only on a need to know basis. |

I think it's out there but the pleasure is in the hunt and then the discovery of each new wonder.

He's everywhere in the Bible. I can see him in the trees and in the sky and hear him in the thunder, but I can read about him in the Bible.
Moses was a good PR man. He got God the first five books in the Bible, by the way. |
