I heard something today that has me pondering...
"First loves never end..." True? I know my first love will always be in my heart, even though he no longer graces this earth, he was taken away too soon. And even my loves since then I have remained very close too, they are my dear friends. I know they would be there (and have been) for me on a moments notice and I would be there for them. |

Well yea there is always that "What if.." factor..like what if we would of stayed together..

Yes, my first real love was in high school, he moved far away and never expected to hear from him again...I often thought of what ever became of him...he found me online just last year! It's really funny....I find it true.
|

I recently (last Thanksgiving) reconnected with my 1st love after 15 years. We agreed the "what if" was better this way. But, it was nice to have a chance to find out - many don't get that chance. He's still one of my best friends and he'll always hold a part of my heart that no one else ever will.

my first love I was 19 she 17 she got me smoking I quited some years later
She will always have a small corner in my heart though I have never seen her since 1973 I am not sure I do I don't want to see the rage of time across her face Nevertheless it was not the same with anyone else and I am not in to comparisons |

Im still in contact with my first love...some 32 years later...no I dont believe I have any feelings for him at all apart from Duty to the kids

this brings back so many memories. being young and reckless. jumping off the roof into the pool. if we only knew then how good the times were. mike clark. my first luv and my first heartbreak. a woman never forgets either one.

I am sorry to hear of your loss as well.... He was 19 - a motorcycle accident, I was 17...ah, young love. We were gonna conquer the world!

At first after my first girlfriend (and so far only I suppose) and I broke up after 3 months, things weren't all that great, there was some bitterness. Went out of my way to ignore her for a time, which was wrong of me I admit. We're somewhat good friends now though, talk online from time to time.
