Yes but some simply cannot get past the hatred of believers of __________________ (insert religion due hatred here) to have a joyful life. Very sad. My joy and I will continue with the "keep on truckin'" walk.

Can you live happily without any religious or spiritual beliefs ?. Yes, absolutely. I can especially do without religion. Especially dogmatic authoritarian religon that demands that people either believe in it or be shunned by those who do. Pure spirituality, without dogmatic authoritarism, could be a good thing if it is offered only to those who desire it and not pushed onto anyone who isn't interested. If the believers in spirituality could accept the non-believers without shunning them or claiming that they are rejecting God, then spirituality could be a good thing for those who need it. I personally have no need to practice my spirituality openly with others. I could be a spiritual person in a society full of atheists and no one would even know of my spiritual thoughts unless they specifically asked about them. If everone felt that way about their spiritual views then spirituality wouldn't be problematic. Spirituality should never be problematic. When it becomes problematic I think that's an obvious sign that it is necessarily a false spirituality. |

Sure. I do think that at one time or another someone needs extra support. Some find it through their religion or spirituality while others find it through the people around them.

Ask all the walking dead around...let's see...without religion...we have...
abortion...drug & alchohal abuse... sexual perversion, infidelity & divorce thanks to the porn industry, slave labor, sex slave industry, terrorism, big govt. to "provide" all these self inflicted needy people, rebellion, theft, strife, stress.... Now... tell me...can we live & be happy without God? |

Ask all the walking dead around...let's see...without religion...we have... I think I would rather be walking dead than living under the restrictive bigotry of the bible abortion...drug & alchohal abuse... sexual perversion, infidelity & divorce thanks to the porn industry, Cant see a problem so far slave labor, Like the bible suggests, you mean? sex slave industry, terrorism, big govt. to "provide" all these self inflicted needy people, rebellion, theft, strife, stress.... Hmm ... there are a few in there I agree with ... rebellion isnt one of them, but the rest ... yep Now... tell me...can we live & be happy without God? Hell yeah! Considering he/she/it caused half the troubles in the world .. of course we can. |

big govt to "provide" all these self inflicted needy people. Most needy people are victims of harsh circumstances such as mental illness , sickness and other unbearable aspects of life . Are you after the poor ,the sick and the weak now ? !. |

Can you live happily without any religious or spiritual beliefs ?. So far the YES camp is winning . . The yes camp will always win. Its the fact that the no camp are not able to think outside the confines of their restrictive dogma. Because if you prove to them that they are wrong, they still are unable to believe otherwise ... I guess that is their blind faith. |
