Minutes Tick Away As I look at the clock on the wall I wonder, as each second passes, Does she think of the guy That writes and wears glasses? What wonders through her mind As she ponders through the day, As I sit and think of her As the minutes tick away. If and when we ever do meet What will be in store for us ahead, Another few minutes pass As time slips away, I dread.
