No......I would have said a lot more than that and maybe not so nice!!!
If they disrespect your children then they are disrespecting you!!! |

feeling rise and fall and take their course as long as we do not attach danger to them,
it's trivial |
|

|
ohhhh I would have not been so nice.. and then hung up on him.. if he thinks that way about your son now trust me it would only get worse!

your first reaction is usually the correct one!

The guy could have been joking and you took it in the wrong way... I need to hear the actual call to know for sure....

Does he have children of his own? I think that he was very disrespectful and you should have hung up on him twice!

Singing is a sign of being happy and if that guy didn't like that then he needs to go |

You did NOT over react.
Good for you mom If that S.O.B was so confident to make such a comment without thinking it was inappropriate, imagine what he would have been like around your son. Verbal abuse is still abuse. You nipped it in the bud. Your son will thank you one day and he will grow up to be a better man than that guy could ever set an example for |

Joyce...
No you did not over react. What's the matter with this guy? I would not go out with a guy that is soooo insensitive to your OWN child??? |

You did the right thing!

thank you
with my sarcastic tone, i know he got the point. i am not one to get angry fast or hold a grudge or make something small into something big. in fact, i am not upset. i just think that there is no way to build any kind of meaningful relationship because my children are a huge part of my life even living miles away. and when they are with me..i want them to feel wanted and loved, not in the way! no, he does not have any children-- big problem! |
