I dont know a whole lot, but I'll share what I do know. I work at a furniture store and we sell a few refurbished tvs. From what Ive been told plasma is hard to fix if you have a problem, and the over heat easily. I would go with the lcd

LCD's have 2 speeds available...The 120 Hz and the 60 Hz.
The 120 Hz handles fast action much better. Ask for a demonstration of this at Best Buy. Panasonic actually has a split screen that you can look at. Half at 60 and half at 120.
When words trail across the screen they will be blurry in 60 and clear at 120hz. Sony XBR, Samsung, and LG are tps right now.
I bought an LG 22" computer monitor and completely LOVE it!! It's rock solid and has great color with a deep black background...awesome!! If anyone is looking at moitors...look at the speed...2ms is about the best. The LG also has a 10,00:1 ratio...that means a tighter picture with more pixels per inch.
