when someone is silent, they are usually communicating. it just takes someone to understand that. infact, the silent one might be saying a whole lot too!!!

Non-verbal communication skills.... Those are tough with these long distance internet relationships though, aren't they?

Especially while talking on the phone....huh

I would have to say as long as the communicate anything, that'd be cool with meflowerforyou

It's really hard to have a good relationships with someone who "clams up" or isnt a great conversationalist.

Yes it is. The narrative voice in the song was my frame of mind when I joined this site. Plus it is one of my top five songs ever.

Verbl or non-verbal communication skills are important. A man can communicate just as well with his actions

Are they truly important in a relationship? I've known many women that claim they need a man with good communication skills but once they find one they've no idea what to do with him. Suppose someone's non-verbal communication skills are much better than the verbal ones. Is that good enough?

Absolutely. Especially as how I'm a better non-verbal communicator myself. I don't need to always be talking. I do at least want the man I'm with to be able to communicate verbally about the somewhat more important topics though.
