What's really "grindin my gears" eh? The fact that I can't do all that
I want and that I am stuck at work....if you can call it that. I could
go on for hours and go into ugly detail...but....I won't. Let's just
say i am glad it is friday.

Bliss you are a nice enough woman and all but Spay is correct,for
once.This could get anyone who posted on it banned.But what grinds my
gears?I work as a store clerk and people are consistently
rude,especially the elderly and every one thinks they are above you.Like
I'm not worth getting to know because I don't work a state job. It's
gotten so bad I hate the job.Okay I'm done.

Hey Dane don't feel bad when I waited tables for almost 10 years us to
kill me the people that would look down at ya like you were nothing and
that is why you had to wait on them funny I use to laugh all the way to
the bank heck when I waited tables and Bartended heck I made more money
then most of the people I knew lol

Try working at a ****tail lounge with a bunch of drunks grabbin at ya
all the time and spilling beer and liquor on you...not to mention the
lewd comments...but, like TXS...I laughed all the way to the bank...good
tips, and good money...

Grind my gears?

Been seperated for over a year now. I'm living in absolute squalor -
[yadda yadda, break out the violins]. She has the home, and the kids.
Here's today's Instant Messenger Recap

Mary: "I need $1000. i dont have enough for food, utility bills and that
sort of thing."

Me: "Oh - well, I gave $2k a couple days ago. You really need another
$1k? Now? How about in a week or so?"

Mary: "No, like I really need it now. I dont get paid till next week."

The $ amount wasnt that unusual, just the immediacy. Something must have
happened I figured. Un-expected expenses...who knows - crap like that
happens all the time right?

Me: "Ok - I just did an electronic transfer. $1k. Done."

Mary: "Tx. When do you want the divorce papers served? Or do you want to
come down here and sign for them to avoid the embarassment?"


--It became obvious to me that I had just paid for her attorney to sue
me. I was out-manouvered in an instant. It was so slick that it actually
put a smirk on my face [privately of course]

But that was a definate Gear Grinder of a day.

I can't top that one Mike. That was definitely a "Gear Grinder"
What really grinds my gears is that for the past year I have had to work
6 days a week (doesn't look like it will end any time soon either)and on
the only day I have off.....I'm too tired to do anything. I know, I'm
whining or maybe it's just that I am too tired to really know what I
just said. lol
