Forum Rule#1{No Way!}
1) Do not attack/slam/insult others. You can discuss the message or
topic, but not the messenger - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are attacked by
another user, and you reciprocate, YOU will also be subject to the same
consequences.{{{Defending yourself,[[[defending a friend]]],etc.are NOT
excuses.}}} Violations of this rule are taken very seriously and may
result in being banned without warning!

Then I see a particular portion of this rule as placing me on the
endangered species list effective immediately.I will not remain in
compliance of the above rule for several reasons.First of all;JSH has no
Mediators yet in place to actively monitor forum activity.So members are
still currently vulnerable to being attacked.1)I certainly would not be
much of a friend if I did not come to the immediate aid of one of my
friends.2)I consider my friendships very dear and I take that very
seriously.Some friends I've made here at JSH mean alot more to me than
the mere acquaintances or so~called friends in real~time/real~world.To
walk away is not an option for Cybear period.I will never turn away or
jump into a different forum while a friend is under attack from some
low~life cyber punk.My friends know me"oh!too well"and they also
realize,I'm going to be into the mix with a quickness.That's like asking
me to change my character or to diminish my integrity.And that quite
simply is not going to transpire.Yes we have many strong and quite
capable women within the site that handle themselves quite
nicely,however that does not imply that all are capable of adequately
protecting themselves.Is is not the primary objective of the comm.to
grow and prosper and for everyone to have their say without fear of
being bashed.Seems to me;any current members who share the same approach
and mentality have in essence assisted this site to reach it's goals
until Moderators were put into place.So then perhaps I should remain out
of the forums besides the Poetry sect.because I may encounter one of
these situations.Well then that leaves me as a high priority banning
candidate because I will be right there in defense of one of my
friends.My dear friends;Cybear has no intentions of cutting and running
anywhere.In fact you guys and gals can reach me at

that perhaps my days @JSH maybe be numbered for the above reason,however
Cybear aka Steve does not change for anyone,anything,web site.etc.I will
finish then by saying that there are no mere words to describe the
depth of my friendship that I have been blessed with here at JSH.In 4
months we all have shared so much with each other
we've,laughed,shared,consoled,comforted,flirted,learned,etc.
My friends here @JSH know more about me,than some friends who have known
me for 20yrs.You ppls.have a special place carved deep in my heart
forever.So perhaps I'll diminish posting for awhile and see if
Moderators are put into place.Hopefully they will because I feel the
site's inevitable success or failure is hinged upon it.Well in the
meantime the Bear will try to keep his snout out of trouble,but I will
remain pillaging camp sites and picnic areas=YUMMY!

CYBEAR, sweetie, you are NOT the only one that feels this way. Everyone
knows that I don't talk lighly the fact that some guys and girls
(newbies) that sign up here throw open the doors and think they are
better than everyone else, or that all the ladies on JSH are of easy
questionable standards. And therefore they think that they are
whore-shopping in our community.

So, just like you, I will still be chewing them up and spitting them out
until they learn their lesson.

Yes, I will give others here every chance to warn them to show respect,
before I start chewing and spitting .

If we get banned for defending the honor of the community and our
friends here, then I guess we will have lunch together. Or just start
another profile like everyone else does.

sweetie.. ((((((((((cybear)))))))))) I don't think Mike meant you can't
help a friend.. there are MANY ways to help.. asking nicely withOUT
bashing or being TOO harsh CAN work.. sometimes just saying BACK OFF to
someone can help.. there's no bashing there.. also.. a friend can send
emails of abuse to the admins while the basher and bashee are in a
thread.. helping the friend THAT ways works like MAGIC.. my sis had MY
back yesterday and I tell ya.. one fell swoop and the DRAMA was gone..
the rest of us just ignored the DRAMA QUEEN actions.. and it AND the DQ
were immediately banned/erased..

anywho..just want to say that you CAN help withOUT putting yerself OR
your friends in any kind of danger.. I wud REALLY be upset if you left
though ((cy)) yer a real sweetie and you'd be sorely missed..

I think you're misinterpreting the rule somewhat. We would never want
you to be a bad friend to all the friends you've made on JustSayHi, or
any friends for that matter.

The point of the rule is that there are no circumstances under which you
may attack/insult/slam/denigrate/degrade, etc. another user. Defending
yourself or a friend is not an excuse for attacking someone else.

That, however, does not mean that you cannot defend a friend at all.
There are many ways, as Zero_effected noted, that you can defend a
friend without insulting or slamming their attacker. You can praise
your friend publicly. You can report abuse on the attacker, and ask
them to stop their attacks. You can take any number of other actions
that would defend your friend yet refrain from attacking another member.
All of those would be perfectly fine to us. We just don't want people
using self-defense or defending a friend as an excuse for attacking
other users.
