that the good guy never gets the girl. I mean, when I was drinkin like a fish, doin every kind of drug u could possibly do, and getting arrested every other weekend I always had a girl. Now that I a good boy it seems all the girls I meet are CRAZY. what's the deal. Where they crazy before and I was just too drunk and stoned to see it or what.

How long has it been since you drank or drugged last? Alcoholic-alcohol=ic! It's not uncommon to continue to draw in the unhealthy element in with newfound sobriety and it takes real work to change unhealthy habits. Remember, we attract people at our own level of health, and I have been there before, with varying levels of denial about it. Fortunately, and as of Monday, it will be 5 years since I've been able to use alcohol as an excuse for why I attract the sick ones. If you want to know how healthy you are, get in a relationship. If you want a concise and alphabetical list of character defects, marry someone. |

women aren't attracted to niceness, predictability, or even looks. They are attracted to social status and one's sense of mental well being (also the ability to provide).
Anyway, being a nice, "good boy" is merely a plus when it comes to attraction. Although, as a few have mentioned earlier, you have to be careful to not become too predictable when you calm down. Find a way to maintain some excitement. Doesn't always have to wind you up in prison. It sometimes makes a bit more sense when you think of it as a "survival a reproductive" rank. That can actually explain quite a lot when it comes down to understanding one's self and others. We are animals after all. We have millions and millions of years of evolutional drives and instincts guiding us. Wild, unpredictable men are dominent after all. ::Hint hint::

I need to copy my response...that way I can just paste it.
Short and sweety, nice guys are too nice (ie, good guys). Become a burden eventually because they are to clingy at times and can become bothersome with the lack of creativity in their words (ie, you're beautiful, you're beautiful)...and some other notes I had jotted down before, but they all follow this same guide.

Don't give up hope, I was a "good" girl and I met a "bad" boy spent years trying to live with him and his alcoholism. Finally had enough and the kids and I left. Since then, I keep trying to find the good decent guy, but always end up with the guy who ends up being "bad" for me in one way or the other (players or liars). But, I just take it one day at a time a keep looking. Gotta be out there somewhere.... |
