Human beings have the ability to acquire knowledge through sensorial experiences. As the philosopher explains sensorial knowledge is the first level of knowledge to which all of us have access. Even inferior animals have such ability.
The point from which humans start differentiating from animals is when all the knowledge acquired by the senses is processed by means of reasoning. The kind of reasoning known as INDUCTIVE which states that from experiences we are able to abstract general ideas or concepts. My personal experience since I was a child have made me conclude without doubt that there MUST BE a superior entity on which the whole universe rests. This means that this superior entity has a creative power from which every single thing has been created. This superior being for being the Creator it is in each thing He created and most of all He transcends everything. Therefore, He is an unlimited and omniprescent entity. Furthermore, my reasoning allows me to condlude that such supreme power is eternal because He must have been in existance even before the universe came into being. Therefore, it follows that He must be omniscient. Simply because if He is in everything and all the time, this means that He does not have either space or time as we understand it. He was who He is even before space and time was created. So if He is in everywhere and He knows everything even before it happens how can I pretend to think that I am the owner of whatever I have the illusion to possess. Ultimately, I'm not the owner of my own life. Whenever I cast out this supreme being from my life I delusionally pretend to think that I'm free, but free from what. The only real freedom is the certainty to know that no matter what my Creator will provide for my needs. When I understand that I will be free from the world slaveries which are the everyday worries. This is just a simple reasoning from experiences in my own life from which I have drawn these simple conclusions. TLW |

If what was actually cast off was a dogmatic authoritarian religion then the individual has been freed from unjustified organized bigotry and oppressed. I think you need to be careful about suggesting that people who refuse to accept manmade dogma are casting out a supreme being from their life. What they might actually be doing is casting off the chains of manmade bigotry. This is just a simple reasoning from experiences in my own life from which I have drawn these simple conclusions.
It's seriously difficult to know whether things that seem reasonable truly are reasonable. At one time men thought that it was reasonable to believe that the earth was at the center of creation. At one time it seemed reasonable to believe that the Gods were responsible for inflicting plagues and natural disasters onto people. We now know that these things that once seemed reasonable genuinely have no basis in reason at all, but rather they have basis in ignorance and superstition. In more modern times, people felt that it was reasonable to believe that space and time are two entirely separate things, and that they are both absolute. It seemed reasonable. After all the idea, the time could be different for different people not only seems intuitively unreasonable, but it seems utterly absurd. Yet, now we know, that time and space are actually a single interchangeable fabric. One can be turned into the other. They are malleable and time is not at all what we originally intuitively reasoned that it might be like. We have learned that the universe itself is not as 'reasonable' as we had first thought. And now tiffany is going to complain that I wrote another book. |

Jeez, your hate for christianity even makes you read what is not even written. |

Jeez, your hate for christianity even makes you read what is not even written. Where did I mention Christianity? Where did I say that you are trying to tell people what to believe? All I said is that maybe people who appear to be casting out a supreme being are actually cast off a dogamtic religion. Sorry Miguel, it wasn't my intention to jump on your case. I was just commenting with my thoughts. I didn't mean to imply that you had said anything wrong. |

Also, I used bad wording. My apologies,...
When I said,... I think you need to be careful about suggesting that people who refuse to accept manmade dogma are casting out a supreme being from their life. What they might actually be doing is casting off the chains of manmade bigotry. I should have said,.... What they might actually be doing is casting off the chains of manmade bigotry. I didn't really mean to sound like I was accusing you of something. My apologies. That wasn't my intent at all. |

TLW that's not inductive reasoning that's wishful thinking or better known as fantasy because you are making outragous assumptions about things that are not in proveable evidence or that you have no provable evidence of ...you are trying to induce a non-existence into a reality ..that's called delusional not inductive reasoning |
