r a democracy too, but how come this country has so many people in prison or jail. we lead the world in this issue.

Because we catch the criminals better?

Because we arnt as free a we think we are

correct and why do inmates never regain there rights after they served their time! (Speaking from eperience!) I feel if you have done your time and paid your debt, give me my rights back!

We have more people in prison, but many countries have more per capita.

Most countries can fit inside the USA, with room to spare. Sometimes i dont think it fair to compare the countrie with others. Even with things as bad as everyone tring to make, people still want to be in the United States.

the one's that have done their time, some go back and commit the offense again............to me, that is immediater termination...........why waste taxpayer's money again???????

Its so many things that go into why people get arrested, and jailed. From being guilty, to being wrongly jailed. Drugs, Mental problems, white collar crimes, sex offenders, lack of education,poverty, and accidents. The USA, has so many laws, and so many ways to interpret the laws that you can be jail, because they have to figure out the mess the courts created. I think the the thing that make me more intrested in the jail system is why the least of the population gets jailed more than the majority. Blacks, are jailed 3, times more than hispanics, and 5 times more than whites. eventhough some say that people that serve there time should get there right back, some are getting theirs taken away more often

Why cause the other country's don't tip toe around with the criminals instead they shoot them or give them such living conditions they never want to go back or be there in the first place.

In the states they all scream they have rights and grip about living conditions ect..

Shhehes If the USA treated them like other countries does our crime rate would cut in half in a years time.

My friend is from Turkey, when he was a child his father was caught stealing, and his fathers punishment...Watching his child get one toe cut off... I'm not a proponent of this...but look at the criminal rate there.

There is a difference betwwen violent and "bad" crimes, and "bench warrents" but... You're right, we tip toe as to not hurt anyones feelings....
