I don't get this 'stealth mode' stuff. Why would you want to be in 'stealth mode'??

I have used stealth mode to avoid getting plowed with email while I check the ones I've already got when I'm working...the only problem is that I can't keep my mouth shut and end up on the forums anyway.

May be I have a limited time to reply to my Emails and do not wish to be digressed in that limited time and to be drawn into discussions or getting even more attention when I have no time. Of course like any other facility the system is open for abuse such is the human nature.
