Well, I trust THEM more than I trust people on line. For the most part. b - Are you a good judge of character, IRL? Not especially. Getting better since I stopped dealing with people. c - Have you been royally...ahem...taken advantage of via someone you "met" online? Fooled, yeah. Not so much taken advantage of, because I knew, within 8 seconds of actually meeting them, that these were catastrophes waiting to happen! They didn't really get a chance to advantagize me. With one exceptional exception....!  |

Feel free to adlib, as I know you will without my suggestion. Oh no, not another survey!!  Can't say I've really had much success with this online stuff, I can only answer "c"... I was webcamming with a girl a couple years ago, and was shocked to find that she had lied about her age (she was actually significantly younger than she claimed) After I told her in no uncertain terms not to try to contact me anymore, she sent me this video of her doing a suggestive dance...it just popped up on the screen when I logged on...then the suicide threats started coming in, and I spent a whole evening trying to talk her out of slitting her wrists...worst of all, I hadn't figured out yet how to use the block function on my e-mail...  Of course it was all about playing her pity party. I'd consider that taking advantage of my nicer side. What a nightmare. |

No I don't I try not to lose hope. And I do believe the good in people. But there is the other side. And so far they'll tell you anything to get you into bed. They go to fast. Then point the finger at you for something. I've Just been hurt and also had a bad experience before I didn't even meet that one. But he got so rude with me I left for awhile.

So I'd say maybe a "3" b) I'm a lot less gullable and a lot more cynical in real life, go figure.... "8" c)Not taken advantage of, but had my feelings hurt TWICE "3" I'm new to the online thing, still learning..... |

I give this a 5...I think that half are pretty darn honest and sincere, a fourth lie cause they think they are too boring to be interesting, and a fourth are kids playing adults online. b - Are you a good judge of character, IRL? I think a 7 here. I have always had a knack for judging character in person, and think that I do online as well, but take points off since it is not easy to prove that. c - Have you been royally...ahem...taken advantage of via someone you "met" online? I'm going to say 10...I see em coming before they can get anything from me...but then again I am here for friends, so am not really susceptible to it. Feel free to adlib, as I know you will without my suggestion. |
