Shadow, I think you have a valid point. In GENERAL, I think we've met so many fakers or those who don't really know themselves that when a genuine article is presented, we're looking at him that there's just GOT to be something wrong, start trying to find the flaws, look for cracks or devisiveness. Like, who would give us a real Faberge' egg, so rare and devine? We are used to dollar store plastic knock-offs!!!

In simplicity truth is what a lot of people can't handle. Can a heart lie to itself? False people are scared off from true people. From what I can tell it seems you are a true person. I think woman are afraid of the unknown...most of them on here have been with a guy that they thought was 'the one' i'm sure he seemed honest, caring, etc...etc But in the end they were hurt...so they are understandably weary of the 'what if' they are use to a 'catch' because in there experiences thus far there has always been one...they are assuming you have a 'catch' too...they just don't know when it will show itself...and when they can't find it they tend to worry because it is an "unknown" to them....and people in general fear the "unknown" JMHO Humm you could be right but is this not men and women both. I have known several men that have been hurt and now pull back due to that. |

Guess I'm one of the profiles you're "profiling."  I do want a man that can keep up with me, but that pertains to all areas of a relationship. We have to challenge each others minds, be able to communicate in a lively and meaningful way, and match each other in ways that make the relationship a REWARDING challenge. Hi shadow...how ya been.. been doing really good lately. This thred was just for fun and to show how men can actually be. So far i seen one man actually give an honest answer. Most men don't know how to relate or give feed back and this thread will show it because they take it as if this is being an ego or somone being better then. And can't see part the reality thatmost men are afraid to be themselves so they rather joke and try to prove one wrong. it's rather funny

Nothing but real and a true Gentleman. Wish there were more like you that knows how to be honest with their feelings.
Actually I have found a few on here that do know how. And a real pleasure to talk to as well. It never hurts to show what is inside. One must learn until they can be honest with themselves they can never be honest with others.

Nothing but real and a true Gentleman. Wish there were more like you that knows how to be honest with their feelings. Actually I have found a few on here that do know how. And a real pleasure to talk to as well. It never hurts to show what is inside. One must learn until they can be honest with themselves they can never be honest with others. This is so true and being on here and meeting some of the friends that i have like you, help me see things for what they are and lets me know that life has it's moments, but we can still grow and move on I'm suprised i didn't get more of a reaction out of the men on here. I think i know why already

i think there is a fine line between arrogance, conceit and confidence. it is ok to have confidence but when it ride over into arrogance and conceit it sounds and looks bad. this is only my opinion shadow but to me that entire statement came off as conceit.

Yeah it would seem to some that this was me being conceit and thats because some don't know me. I was going off of some of the emails i get and some of the profils i read. Not saying all men are stupid or anything like that. There are a few men on here that are real and it's a shame how so many women can't see that. In all, this thread was just for fun and to see what reactions i would get and so far it seems that the ladies have it more together on reading this thread then the men. That says alot and thats sad... |
