California in general is expensive, but I live in Orange County and the cost of living here is RIDICULOUS!
Honestly I am very lucky I make good money and can afford this outrageous rent! |

My mom is a teacher, but has been there for a long time and has a phd, so she gets pretty good money. My first year out of law school i'll make twice what she does...it's sad for teachers :( |

I looked up violent crime rankings.
Charlotte, NC was ranked 47th Nationwide- Police salary is $45,000 a year LA, CA-101st Vallejo isnt even ranked! SF, CA though is -108th http://www.morganquitno.com/cit05a.pdf |
