I don't think of god as being an egotistical authoritarian. So if you are thinking of God in biblical terms then, no. I definitely wouldn't want to be that kind of God. I have absolutely no desire to be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I'm not into that kind of egotistical power trip at all.

I could use a magic wand though. So only in that sense would I like to be God.

In fact, if I had god-like powers I would find a few good people who are very meek and loving like myself. If I had god-like powers I would easily know who they are. Then I would take them to a completely different earth-like planet (even if I had to create it myself). And we'd live happily ever after.

On the other hand, if being God meant that I'd have to be responsible for the people back on earth, then forget it. I didn't create that situation and therefore I want no parts of being responsible for it.

If your question is,... "Would I want to step in and take over the biblical God's place right now". The answer would be a resounding NO! He'll have to clean up his own mess. I wouldn't have done things the way he has done them thus far.

I would have been a much better mentor to my pets had I created humans. A much better 'father'. The biblical God is a terrible father figure IMHO. Not to mention the fact that he's guilty of abandonment and he has displayed very poor mentoring skills.

To take over his job now would be like someone giving you their spoiled-brat 19-year-olds and saying, "Here! Raise these unruly kids!"

It's like already too late. The kids needed better parenting when they were younger.

I would make a good God ..because I would take responsibility for what I created and not blame my idiot creations for my blunders ..

first I would give everyone "True Free Will" not that fake free will crap ..which means no one would be a cannible anymore and feasting on the death of other life forms in order to live ..so no more eating food or drinking water so no need for money ..my creations would also have the ability to use their thoughts to alter reality without consequences which means no need for medicine and/or technology ..and here's the big shubang... I would make it so that no one would be able to harm anyone else
