CHOICES
As you walk down the path of life,
you look to the left and to the right.
One side is the bright shiny day,
and the other is the dimlit starry night.

Which side do you choose to be yours,
the still darkness or the brilliant light?

For one side is the endless road of happiness,
and the other the trail of love and scorn.
Not an easy choice by any means,
and with your decision you will be torn.

You have to make one of these choices,
for this was the reason you were born.

The first is for the wise and the seemingly safe,
and the other for the very bold of heart.
For where and how you live your life,
depends on where and when you start.

They both hold true and wanton adventure,
Now the choice is the tricky part.

The answer hidden deep within yourself,
may even come to you or lead you astray.
Hopefully you will have read the signs right,
the answer will be only yours once to say.

There will be truth in knowing and speaking it,
when it finally comes time for decision day.
