Traveled almost 2000 miles to meet Shadowdog...It was so worth it!!  His turn 3 weeks from now

A good friend is gonna drive 5 hours to see me this summer and I'll most likely follow up with a return trip sometime.

I moved and now only have to drive an hour and 45 minutes, which is nice. Before, I drove 8 hours.

As nice as it would be to meet someone far away and possibly connect, I know that will never happen. So not going to waste my time... I am here where I live and will not move for anyone, even if I think she is my "soulmate".... My daughter is here, she needs me more than anyone...My time will come down the road
Yes, Jim here won't travel more than five miles away to meet his girl. He said she would have to meet him half way if she lived six miles away.

I wouldn't. They've always come to me. The farthest anyone traveled to meet me was from California. Last one lived in Tyler, TX and flew in to meet me in his single-engine airplane.
