i think we got what we went over there for so i think we should start

I don't think we should have gone in the first place, but now that we
are there, agree with Karma.

I feel terrible for the families of the military members over there, and
the ones who have lost their loved ones, but agree that we are there,
should finish the job. Think it was poorly planned in the beginning
though.

Are all the Taliban wiped out? Did I miss something? Al-Queda lost all
their leaders and funds? Their suicide bombers surrendered? I must have
missed that broadcast. As long as they retain a fighting force, as long
as they are strong enough to encourage recruits they are not beaten and
the job is not done. How many more must die from terror. Trivia for you
- Osama Bin Laden stated 20 years ago that he would bring war to the US
and nobody believed him. Now they won't wait another 20 years

One thing we have told our enemies since Korea is that the American
Public, not the American Soldiers, don't have the balls to stay and
finish the job. Everybody knows that if the hang on long enough against
is, the American Public will throw in the towel. Get this through your
heads, Radical Islam wants us DEAD! If we pull out of Iraq it will
encourage them to become more bold.

Truman fired MacArthur for wanting to win in Korea, then we negotiated a
cease fire which left intact a government that is one of the most brutal
in the world. Now they have Nuclear weapons and are passing the
technology on to other rogue nations.

Iran is now pursuing nuclear technology and will soon develop a bomb.
Do you actually think they won't use it when they get it.

In Viet Nam we necotiated a settlement that the Viet Cong broke as soon
as we were out of the country. In Cambodia the Khmer Rouge murdered
over 3 million people.

We have coddled terrorists and turned the other cheek to them for 50
years and all it has done is to make them bolder and stronger.

Someone said "as long at they aren't here" what the world do you think
9/11 was they are here, they KILLED over three thousand American
Citizens. More than the Japanese killed in their attack on Peral Harbor
that put us into WW II.

If you don't have the balls to sand up for this country, then learn to
speak Farsi, convert to Islam and learn to spend a short miserable life
on your knees that can be ended at the whim of your master.

We shouldn't even be in Iraq!
This war is just a facade. The Republican Party has tried to fool
Americans(not all) into thinking there was just cause to invade Iraq.
Notice how every time things aren't going well in Iraq, FOX(right
wing)News attempts to distract the American public with BULLSH** stories
that have nothing to do with the war? Anna Nicole for instance. Way
too big a deal for a drugged-out Playboy Bunny. Our guys are dyin' over
there. And for what? Alot of them are getting killed just driving
supplies back and forth between cities.
Bush and all his greedy, oil-hungry partners in crime are just trying to
reap the benefits of war.
About us coming home? It would be nice to have everybody come back from
Iraq, but now is where the situation gets tricky. Like gardenforge
said, if we leave now, it'll make us more vulnerable to attacks. This
is true.
See, we should have never have set our sights on Iraq. Afghanistan was,
and still is, where we should be. At least when we're there, we're
there for a cause. To catch Bin Laden.
He's the sum-***** that wanted all this. He wanted us on his turf, to
prove he could defeat the Americans, just like Afghanistan did with
Russia.
He threw the first punch with 9/11, and I do believe we should defend
ourselves. But going into Iraq is like punching the innocent dude next
to you, while you're already fighting with the guy that hit you first.
You'll end up getting your butt kicked.
Which is exactly what's going on right now in the Middle East.
