Ed hands school of fish sitting

a scaley view of coy circling round a pool of death
and fern
all up-jacked in unison ,a crowd
of pappelites
murmering a secret of dirty underwear and
broken thoughts-
un-informed of the
news that made the world round and
people angry..
un-informed of
the satelite of dreams rocketing
out of my ball
into your elbow-
uniformed of the gross mis-understanding
that seperates me and the moon and
you and the haystack..

Ed hand
is the babysitter of lost fish
he sits with the gaped mouth
rubber ducks
and the tailed serpents from
dead states
and gets his pay from the people
under the stairs
and commits
his
worth
to being nothing...
and tries to fix his hair
to movie stars on tv..
hoping that one day
he'll be
a rain puddle that he can jump into himself
and die.
