That we as a society put too much empasis on the way people look?

Me i do... I understand that there does have to be a certain level of physical attractiveness but, it seems that we base our decisions on who to date by whether or not society as whole would view a person as attractive....

I 110% agree with you! Though I myself do not judge on looks..I judge on personality and the person as a whole. Looks fade..but personality doesn't.

as i said there does have to be a certain lever of atractiveness but you can be attracted to someone that the masses think to be unattractive....

Of course we have become a society of terds who put too much emphasis on looks. Somehow a lot of people equate looks with desirability and therefore make it supposedly easier on themselves, (the ones who insist on conforming and those seeking what is considered good-looking). But, in the long run, that will backfire. People lose looks, people lose body parts, people get sick, people need longterm love and care... and usually the ones who go by looks are the first ones to bail!! There's always going to be someone younger, more handsome/pretty, etc. to replace. And, in case no one noticed, lots of handsome/pretty people still get cheated on. It's just a dumb thing to go by. And, there are SO MANY OTHER attractive things about people besides looks.

I think there is a difference between judging people on their looks and whether or not you're attracted to someone.

We can't help who we're physically attracted to but we can be careful not to judge someone strictly on how they look rather than who they are as a person.

<--runs,works out,watch what i eat most of the time..and still will never be stick thin...but i'm okay with that..and men should be too!
