Since when does a rant get to be called advice? Or since when does one feel what they call common curtesy mean that if you don't follow those exact guidelines your are less than courteous? I get wanting a guy to be a certain way, but why does your opinion constitute sound advice. I usually state that I am ranting when I am because that is a common courtesy but I don't get the whole "my word is what is right" and "only people like me understand what I am saying" I may not be like you but I pride myself in trying to understand everyones point of view.

I just let people know I am venting or ranting when I do it. I think that that should be a common courtesy.

lol you'll notice in most of the recent rants it's been asking for advice and opinions. Therefore... you get them. I think IMHO that people take the "advice" that they get from here a little to personal.
