I did once give an elderly lady $20 for her groceries

I lent one of my neighbors one of my cars right for a week right after I filled it up. Her's had broken down, and she worked about 40 miles away. I told her not to worry about the gas. She repaid me with a homecooked dinner every night for almost two weeks. Just what a bachelor needed !!!

I'd have to say when I dove into the lake and pulled out that kid who had jumped off a bridge and didn't come up. He'd hit some rocks on the bottom and went unconcious. He was still breathing when I pulled him out, so no, I didn't save his life, but I gave him a "ride" to shore.

i loaned an (almost)complete stranger $1000 for a plane ticket so he could go see his girlfriend who he hadn't seen in a long time and was half way around the world.

Gave, for $1.00, my next door neighbor one of my cars. His broke down (trans) and didnt have enough to get it fixed right away. Was Feb and walking to here and there would have been terrible.
